Installation Procedure
  • Remove all current siding (as necessary).
  • Remove all dry rot.
  • Make sure entire surface is free of contaminants,  clean and dry.
  • Install hydro gap moisture barrier over entire surface to be sided. (Hydro gap is a moisture barrier that allows the siding to sit slightly away from the wall, leaving a “gap”)  This is very important in wet climates because it give any trapped moisture room to evaporate and/or run out the bottom of your siding. This is vital as trapped water can cause many issues including mold, mildew, rotting wood or leakage into walls and electrical outlets.
  • Once the hydro gap is applied the siding can safely be installed to factory specifications.
  • All joints are flashed. All corners are caulked. All windows are flashed with metal flashing and/or wrapped with flashing tape.
  • All trim is applied properly to customer taste. I.E James Hardie fiber cement trim or wood of your choice.
  • All debris is then removed and disposed of properly.
  • The surrounding area is the magnetically swept to remove nails.
