Why Your Home Needs High-Quality Siding

Moisture can build up in your home’s siding if it’s not well-made or installed. The damp, dark space behind your siding can slowly moisten your inner wall, potentially leading to mold.

That’s why we use a Hydro Gap behind our siding in Washington that lets water and moisture out, greatly reducing the chance of wood rot or mold in your walls.

Protecting Your Family

Rain, snow, hail, and regular freezing/thawing put a big on roofs in the Pacific Northwest. A well-made roof helps your home endure these elements year after year.

A low-quality roof will be quicker to develop leaks that can cause expensive water damage and expose your family to mold or mildew.

Small issues can lead to bigger ones sooner or later. Have an expert take a look.

Improving Home Value

A well-done roof can improve your home’s curb appeal and value. Potential buyers can easily identify if a home has been properly managed. That makes it important to select a roof that’s built to last.

Our home roofing contractors carefully consider material quality, texture, drainage, and design. Our work will blend artistry, functionality, and sustainability for the greatest improvement to your home’s value.

Energy Efficiency

A great roofing system includes great ventilation and attic insulation to better control the temperature in your home. That helps reduce the money spent on your power bill during both the warm and cold seasons.

Energy-efficient home roofing can save you hundreds or thousands of dollars in extra heating and cooling costs, depending on the size of your home. It also saves power and benefits the environment.

Damaged Shingles

If you step outside and take a good look at the roof of your home, you’ll be able to see if your shingles are worn or damaged. When shingles begin to develop deep cracks, curl, or change colors, it’s time to get a licensed professional to inspect your roof. It may just need a simple repair but you can never be too safe, especially if the inspection is free.

Widespread Discoloration

If there are discolored patches in your roof, it may be due to moss and algae. If the moss and algae sit for too long, it can start to eat away at your shingles, causing leaks and water damage.

If you catch it early, you might just need to replace a few shingles rather than getting a whole new roof.

Leaks in the Attic

As homeowners in the Pacific Northwest, it is very important to check your attic for holes that may expose your home to water damage. That is why you’ll want to select weather-resistant roofing materials, as well as hire licensed home roofing contractors in Washington to do the work properly. The better the installation, the better your roof will hold up against the elements.

Just An Old Roof

The average home roof will last 20-25 years, so it’s always in your best interest to double-check the year your roof was installed on your home. That way, you can watch out for signs of damage or wear and have them fixed before they turn into more serious problems.

  • I think this is the same company but they show the name Evergreen Home Exteriors LLC. Jesse and Shawn did the work. They were prompt, well prepared, courteous, and worked through cold rainy weather. They corrected level of the under frame of our deck, replaced stringers that were degraded, installed Azek PVC with hidden fasteners and black aluminum rails with cable. They are obviously experienced and their truck was well stocked with all necessary tools. All of the scrap was hauled away. This was done in two and a half days. Would hire them again.

  • I'm so happy !! We met with them first and talked over everything I needed to get done to make sure we had the right fit for our deck project. They sent out two brothers to do the work and I need to tell you they were so meticulous in everything they did for us. Quality work and they cleaned everything up as well. Polite , Professional and knowledgeable. I'd recommend them to everyone. I'm thinking about hiring them on again to do more work in the future!

  • This crew is fantastic! Our project had several complexities as we were building on a slope. Every step of the process - from the site survey and consultation, to construction and clean up - was completed with professionalism, intelligence and a commitment to quality. Our deck is gorgeous! I'll definitely recommend Evergreen to anyone and everyone.

  • This company built a porch deck for me. They exceeded my expectations at every turn. The estimator arrived on time. He was knowledgeable and so helpful. The project started on time and finished on time. I was out of state during the build and my friend was checking on the progress for me. They were consistently polite and informative to my friend but they also called and gave me a progress report every day! I had previously owned a construction company in Denver and am VERY picky and they exceeded my expectations!

  • Evergreen Windows replace/restored the underside of a deck with stamped concrete on the surface. Very complicated project and I had bids costing $10,000 all the way up to $54,000. Thankfully we went with Evergreen Windows, LLC. Excellent Bid, Started on time, Finished ahead of schedule, Adjusted cost accordingly, Excellent carpenters, and Excellent communication!! I highly recommend Evergreen Windows, LLC, and I would use their services again for future projects.

My Roof Is Leaking. Do I Need A Simple Repair Or An Entirely New Roof?

A leaking roof is something any homeowner would be concerned about but depending on how big it is and how long it’s been leaking for, you may be able to get it taken care of before too much damage has been done. Your first priority is to call a local roofing company and they will send someone out to inspect your home. At Evergreen Home Exteriors, our roofing specialists will come out and help you determine whether you may need a new roof or if a simple repair is to be made.

How Much Will A New Roof Cost Me?

The price of a roof is based on a few main factors. The reasons a roof may vary significantly in cost is as follows:

The Size Of Your Home

The size of your home plays a huge factor in the price. Finding out the size of your home will help us determine how many supplies we will need to complete the job.

High-Quality Roofing Supplies

At Evergreen Home Exteriors, we use GAF roofing, one of North America’s leading roofing supply companies. The cost of your roof and warranty that comes with it will all depend on the products you choose. Warranties, for example, can range from 20-50 years so the price difference will vary depending on the type of quality you are looking for.

Installation Done By Licensed Professionals

Have you ever heard about Dan the handyman? Well, unless Dan the handyman has a full force of professionals behind him and a roofing license with the state, it’s always good to speak with licensed contractors to keep you covered if things go wrong during a project. Paying more for licensed contractors to complete your roof will save you money in the long run and give you peace of mind.

Roofing Installation is a labor-intensive task. The combined experience of our in-house roofing contractors along with their ability to provide great work, and the level of expertise required to complete a job, will play a large role in the costs that come with installing a new roof for your home.

How Will I Know If I Need A New Roof?

The first thing you should consider is the age of your roof. The average roof is said to last an average of 10 to 30 years depending on the quality roofing materials and installation.

Can I Get My Roof Installed In The Winter?

Our team of roofing specialists install roofs year-round. Whether it rains or snows, we send guys out to your home to get the job completed in a timely manner with safety in mind. We are an L&I insured company so if any of our contractors get injured on the job site, you are not held responsible. If weather conditions are severe on the other hand, it may delay the project but we make it a priority to complete the job in a timely manner.

How Long Will The Warranty Be On My New Roof?

All certified GAF shingles come with a lifetime warranty.  The GAF smart choice protection period has a range of 10-50 years and all warranties are also based on the original homeowners unless coverage is properly transferred during the Smart Choice protection period.
