Your new deck in Washington starts with a free estimate by Evergreen Home Exteriors. Call (253) 300-4847 to schedule yours. Our estimators are professionals in home improvement, not salespeople.

They will walk you through your home decking options to help you select the materials, design, and layout that will best complement your Washington state property. Once you’ve decided, they’ll provide a price quote guaranteed for 60 days. Up to 100% of the costs can also be financed.

Once you give the green light, our team of decking contractors will start in on the work. The leader on your project will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in their field, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity. You’ll have direct access to them through BuilderTrend, a powerful construction management platform. You can leave a message for your project lead 24/7, and they’ll keep an ongoing log of all the work done on your project for your reference at any time.

We send our professional roofing contractors to your home for a free inspection and estimate. Our priority is understanding your needs so we take extra time to inspect your home roof and determine whether you need a simple repair or a complete replacement. Only our best in-house roofing experts walk you through all of our roofing materials and procedures to help you decide which products will be best for you. Once that is determined, We can get to work.

We strip down the roof and clean up any debris or excess materials. Any fasteners used for the previous roof will also be removed, as we use completely new materials. Whether you want a shingle or metal roof, we use roof deck materials that work best for the particular type of roof you’re looking for. Our team will also check the integrity of your roof deck.

Next, we’ll install synthetic underlayment to help seal your home’s roof and protect it from the harsh weather here in the Pacific Northwest. With a strong water-resistant barrier from a top roofing company in Washington, your home will be protected from the weather for year after year

We install a ridge vent system at the peak of the roof slope and put on a ridge vent cap to protect from water and debris. It helps eliminate warm air from the attic, keeping it cool and making your home energy efficient.

Flashing is installed where two parts of the roof meet to help collect rainwater and direct the flow to your gutters. Our team of roofing contractors will even ensure that the flashing matches the color of your roof. We do ALL metal (never plastic) venting and flashing to ensure every aspect of your roof is built to last.

The real fun begins! Whether you choose a shingle or metal-style home roof, our team begins installing it. This usually takes between 1-3 days depending on the size of the home.

Gutters are used to collect rainwater and move the water away from your home’s foundation and basement. We make sure your gutters are secure and most effectively positioned to redirect rainwater to a disposal site. Whether you have a pitched or a flat roof, it’s important to always control the flow of rainwater. No one can control the weather but we do our best to protect your home from the unpredictable weather conditions in the Pacific Northwest.

Our team will make small adjustments as needed and thoroughly clean the worksite.

Our licensed and certified roofing experts will make a complete check to review every aspect of your home’s roof.

  • I think this is the same company but they show the name Evergreen Home Exteriors LLC. Jesse and Shawn did the work. They were prompt, well prepared, courteous, and worked through cold rainy weather. They corrected level of the under frame of our deck, replaced stringers that were degraded, installed Azek PVC with hidden fasteners and black aluminum rails with cable. They are obviously experienced and their truck was well stocked with all necessary tools. All of the scrap was hauled away. This was done in two and a half days. Would hire them again.

  • This company built a porch deck for me. They exceeded my expectations at every turn. The estimator arrived on time. He was knowledgeable and so helpful. The project started on time and finished on time. I was out of state during the build and my friend was checking on the progress for me. They were consistently polite and informative to my friend but they also called and gave me a progress report every day! I had previously owned a construction company in Denver and am VERY picky and they exceeded my expectations!

When do I know it is time to update my deck?

Any number of physical and structural issues may indicate the need for a deck renovation. Commonly, direct results of deck usage, such as shaking rails, wobbling boards, and cracked surfaces, are significant signs a deck needs renovation. More subtle signs, such as traces of rot, damage to wood or fixtures, stains, fading, and leaks are also signs that your deck needs work.

What type of material is best for my new deck?

Typically, deck materials fall into three categories, composites, plastics, and wood. Where you live can have a considerable influence on what material best suits your needs. Wood is a classic deck material, but also most prone to wear and damage by the weather. Composites and plastics are more durable options often made from recycled materials. Composites are made of multiple sources, while more uniform plastics, such as PVC, are a strong choice.

How do I maintain my deck?

Maintaining a deck not keeps it looking good and can help it last much longer. Whether wood or plastic, decks need to be treated through regular cleaning and inspection for damage. Most importantly, sanding, sealing, and staining the deck, as the material requires, ensures you are doing your best to ensure the life of your deck.

How long will my deck last?

Depending on the materials and treatments, a deck can last for decades. Untreated wooden decks may see around ten years of life, whereas composite decks or even treated wooden decks can last at least twenty years. Such longevity requires careful attention to the deck’s upkeep, however.
